The Pride
I remember when I was a little kid, sitting on the floor in the foyer singing disney songs to a litter of kittens we had... they seemed to love that, and though I feel a little bit silly saying it, now, I guess I can be forgiven, I was only seven at that time. :) And if sometimes I feel like I want to break into a chorus of Jellicle Cats these days, it's only because tastes do change, you know... as do cats. :)
I've always been around cats, but my first cat as an adult came around 1992, when I got Nico. Since then I've rescued and adopted 12 more, so I think I'll stop now, or risk a divorce. :) Though I do still have to fight the urge to stop when I see a sign proclaiming "free kittens". I love them all. :))
That was our meowmie . . . she loves us all so much and does everything she can to keep us happy. She's also very easily taught to bring treats and toys to us every time she goes to the store. She started this page for us, but now we've decided to take it over from her. That way more of her time can be spent scratching our bellies and rubbing behind our ears.
Here are small tributes to what we call The Lost Ones. These are animals who pass to the Rainbow Bridge without anyone to mourn their loss. It's just a small section now. Precipitated by a poor, tiny kitten who lost his life one day. My husband and I tried to save him, but his trauma was so bad that he passed to the Bridge in my arms on the way to the Emergency Vet. This section is dedicated to him. If you have an animal you would like to submit to this section of the page, please feel free to Email us and we'll add your lost one to this page.
Disclaimer: These stories are meowmie's, in her own words. We haven't quite gotten around to writing our own pages quite yet, we've been pretty busy chasing dust bunnies and lying in pools of sunshine. We do promise to start writing as soon as possible, though.

Meet Myrdhin! :) We're all proud to welcome him into our little family. Meowmie adopted him from Cyber-Cats a while back. He's just a
wonderful little guy, and such an angel. We think maybe he's something like Merlin, who was our fur-brother, but who's now at the
Rainbow Bridge. Merlin's one of the fur-angels who watches over us and keeps us safe from harm, and though we miss him terribly,
we know his life was better for having someone who loved him like Meowmie and Pawpie and us. Anyway, now we've got Myrdhin
with us, and we're so happy to have him here . . . :)
We are pleased to announce the most recent addition to our family
- Gorbash! We're all so happy to welcome him, especially since
we adopted him ourselves, without Meowmie's help! We adopted him from The Adopt A Dragon Foundation. He's so cute, isn't he?
We think that dragons can need homes, too, even if they're WWW homes, and we're happy to be memfurs of the Foundation.
